Allowing Synchronicity to Work for You
Do you know how to allow synchronicity (aka “meaningful coincidences”) to work for you? You’ve probably experienced times where you were thinking of someone and at that very moment you get a call/text from them! According to quantum physics, particles at great physical distances can still be related and influence each other! The real-world corollary of this amazing notion? There may be unseen forces working to coordinate meaningful events for you. The challenge is getting your focus off of future worries or past regrets so you perceive opportunities now.
Here’s the tip: First, it’s essential to get out of your head. If/when ready, start by expanding awareness to include body experience. Look for simple sensations; warm/cool, flowing/blocked, relaxed/tense. Remember, numbness itself is a sensation. If this process creates too much anxiety, seek professional help. You don’t want to be alone with this.
Next, include emotions in your awareness. Look for the universal six: sad, mad, scared, glad, surprise, disgust. You don’t have to do anything accept allow emotions to move briefly through your experience. As body experiences, they’ll automatically shift your state so you feel better. Again, if anxiety rises, get support.
Once you are able to be more fully present more often, keep observing who, what, where, how, when people/places/things/information comes to your attention. Notice your body’s reaction to everything…but especially to something new: does it feel good or not? This is guidance for you!
Finally, make a note of all synchronicities. Stay awake for possibilities. The more you see, the more you’ll see. Your body won’t miss a thing.
